At a Glance:
CrossFit Experience: I've been in crossfit almost 2 years.
Favorite WOD/Exercise: I like the weird things like... Turkish Get Ups and Man-Makers.
PR Pride: I am most proud that I competing in Festivus last year. I never would have thought that I would have the courage or confidence to do something like that.
Least Favorite WOD/Exercise: I absolutely despise running.
Tell us about yourself.
I am 34 and I am a stay at home mom of two amazing children. I am married to the one and only Jonathan Halchak, 11 years this month!
Why did you start CrossFit?
I started crossfit after completing 2 boot camps. I wanted to get healthy enough to be a living donor to my mom.What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
It is most definitely the people and atmosphere.
What motivates you to CrossFit?
The welcoming environment when you walk in the doors and the feeling of accomplishment when you walk out.
What goals would you like to achieve in the next year that CrossFit can help you with?
I would love to eventually say that I can run a 9 minute mile.
What would you tell someone who was thinking about starting CrossFit, but was nervous or scared?
It's not like any other gym... The coaches and members are there to help you succeed and have a great time. Its one of the best decisions I've ever made.
